Meet the Orbital Team

Orbital's executive team is an experienced group of individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and are supported by a professional team of specialists across all areas of the business.

The executive team consists of:

Robert Fallow - Group General Manager
Robert was welcomed to lead the Orbital Marketing Services Group on 9th February 2015 having worked in senior roles at companies including Reebok, Orange and Vets Now. His excellent CV means he brings a fresh perspective to how the Group's various customer sectors can be best served.

David Campbell - BP Director of Operations
David has also been with the company from the early days and knows all there is to know about brochure and parcel distribution, having been responsible for developing many of the operational systems at the core of our business. David is a bit of a marksman, taking part in clay-pigeon and game shooting.

Philippa Harris - Managing Director - Take One Media
Philippa joined Take One in 2007 with extensive senior management experience in the travel industry, including Marketing Director at Eurotunnel and First Choice Holidays and MD at luxury brands Sovereign Holidays and Harlequin Worldwide Travel. She is passionate about the UK tourism business and its potential and so is keen that Take One is an active supporter of key industry events, judging awards, tourism businesses and consortia. Philippa is a keen skier and holds a degree in Psychology and a CIM post-graduate diploma in Marketing.

André Kleinman - Managing Director - JEM, PMD & Orbital Mailing
André joined the Group in 2001 to manage the newly acquired JEM Education Marketing Services (now Jem Education Direct) business based in Abingdon. Since then other related and complementary businesses have been added to his remit and now include PMD Healthcare Marketing Services, Orbital Print (Digital Printing & Short-Run Book production) and Orbital Mailing, our high volume mailing business.

Steve Martin - Director of Sales & Marketing - BP Travel Marketing Services
Steve joined BP Travel Marketing Services over 20 years ago with a passion for the travel industry.
He has a wealth of knowledge on this sector and the range of services we have available to contact travel retailers and consumers directly.
As well as enjoying travelling Steve is also a keen golfer and football fan.

Barry Tipping - Group Finance Director
Barry is a Chartered Accountant. He joined the Group in 2003, bringing with him a wealth of experience as Head of Finance for a software company and prior to that, Saga Services. He is responsible for the finance function at both Group and divisional level and has a dedicated team of finance professionals to support him. Barry is an enthusiastic yachtsman and enjoys skiing in the winter.

Nick Williams - Director - Orbital Response
Nick has worked within the Orbital Marketing Services Group for the past 20 years and has been General Manager for the Orbital Response division since 2003. Nick is responsible for all Call Centre and Fulfilment operations in Ashford and Rushden, Northants.


The central services support team consists of:

Dave Turnbull - Group IT Manager
Dave is responsible for the IT team that look after the group infrastructure. He has influenced the use of technology within the group for many years – as far back as being involved with the migration from mainframe to server-based computing, but he is not a dinosaur.
Dave is a keen dinghy and, more recently, catamaran sailor.

Jane Dawson - Group HR Manager
Jane is the newest member of the senior team having joined the Group in June 2010. Jane has over 20 years HR management experience from working in manufacturing, education and for a professional organisation. She is a keen golfer and member of the local Ashford golf club.
