Tourist maps hit the displays with record participants

Take One Media, literature display specialists for the UK tourism industry, have completed preparations for the 2014 holiday booking season with record sales in their regional publications.

1.35 million tourist maps, 50,000 more than last year, outlining places of interest and attractions have now been produced and placed in thousands of Take One’s leaflet display stands around the country.

127 tourist attractions across the South-West, South-East, London and the Midlands have chosen to advertise in the 2014 maps, an increase of 18% year on year. Consumers will also benefit from 60 money-off vouchers.

Take One’s offerings continue to grow with plans to launch its first map in Essex this year and to release the Summer and Winter editions of the hugely popular Xperience London  tube and street map.
