Charity Week 2014 Raises Money For Good Causes Across The UK

Monday 15th September 2014

At Orbital Marketing Services Group, we have just completed our annual Charity Week, with each of our locations undertaking all sorts of activities and games to raise money for good causes.

The money raised has gone towards a number of charities, both local and national, including The Children’s Society, The Pilgrim’s Hospices, Children 1st, Tros Gynnal Plant and Voice of Young People in Care (VOYPIC).

Ashford

Ashford held a variety of events in which people were urged to take part to raise money. The events included an ‘80s themed dress down day, a bake sale, a number of quizzes, a raffle and an indoor boot fair.

Rushden

The activities in Rushden included two quizzes, a sweepstake, a traditional tea and coffee afternoon, bingo, a lottery, a raffle and a ‘decorate your work space’ day which included fancy dress. As ever, the tea and cakes went down especially well with the team.

Sittingbourne

Our team in Sittingbourne were encouraged to pay to wear their casual clothes at work, meanwhile plant cuttings were sold to raise money, as well as another bake sale.

A huge thank you goes out to all of our team who volunteered their time and donated money, all of which has gone to great causes. Many of our raffle prizes were also donated by local businesses all of whom have had a letter of thanks for their help.
